WOW! So it's been pretty much a month since my last post and it has been a crazy time! First I would like to apologize for my absence. I've been giving myself the much needed time to adjust to the new home in North Vancouver and working out a routine and schedule. We also didn't have a desk until very recently so I barely even touched my computer.
I feel like I've completely turned a new leaf with the move. I'm eating WAY better than I was before, I've started a complete workout plan and meal plan with a trainer to get me to my goal body and health, I meditate more regularly, I'm writing way more songs and I feel more spiritually connected than I have been for a long while. My roomy Vicki is also AMAZING! I never realized how important it is to live with other positive people where you can come home and get a HUGE hug and talk about how amazing your day was. She's a very special friend and I'm so glad to be living with her. This all just feels so right and in flow.
With all of that I want to help you all learn how to fly as I am doing currently. I feel like I'm soaring above the clouds these days with how perfect everything is working itself out and how I'm just really enjoying the journey right now. What really helped me was coming to peace with time and patience. I wanted everything to go at warp speed and most of my life has been very much at that pace but now I'm slowing it down. My plans are now for the next 1-2 years as opposed to 1-2 months. I've learnt that it's more important to build a solid base and foundation to stand on then to "get it done" or quickly achieve your goal. By building a solid foundation to stand on it allows you to build so much higher than you ever imagined and that's when you can touch the clouds and soar. Take a breath and slow it down. Focus on your goal and find the best way to build a solid foundation. Your dream isn't going any where, you have your whole life, one year to build a solid foundation is no time at all in the grand scheme of things. Then you have the rest of your life to enjoy what you've build. But always remember to keep progressing forward, little steps every day. This way it wont all overwhelm you and you wont have a mental breakdown and quite. Slow and steady wins the race.
With Gratitude,
Calan
