What would you do if you knew your time was up?

My Last Days: Zach Sobiech "Clouds" Celebrity Music Video

Today when I woke up I was met with a very unexpected, but very needed, cry. I'm talking the full on, whole body shaking, tears streaming down your face Oprah ugly cry. My amazing friend Jessica Schafer had posted a link to a video on her facebook page and all she had said about it was "wow." Having no idea what I was getting myself into I clicked on the video. Little did I know I had just clicked a button that would change my life.

The story of a boy named Zach Sobiech played before my eyes for 22:21 minutes and as the minutes ticket on my heart exploded with Joy. You see, Zach Sobiech just passed away on May 20th, 2013 but the story he leaves behind will last an eternity. Zach had a rare form of terminal cancer but he wasn't going to let that stop him. He went on to make amazing music for his friends and family as his way of saying goodbye and what came of it was so much more. You can just tell by watching the video that he was a burning bright light of joy for the people who knew him. Now with this documentary that joy can also be shared with the world along with his music. My heart exploded with joy when I was watching because he lived with the same values as I do, it's all about making people happy. I say if you've put a smile on at least one persons face that it's been a successful day. I want to thank Zach and the makers of this video for inspiring me even more to keep on my path of bringing as much joy to the world as I can. It's stories like these that remind us that we only have so much time here. The most important thing to always remember is that Joy, Happiness and Love are really what it's all about in the end. So watch this video, get inspired, remember life is a beautiful gift and go out there and make it happen!
